As part of our provision and agreement with our tenants they help with maintenance of their homes

Supported Housing

PDNE will provide top quality accommodation for up to 2 years.

We ask that all applicants are positively engaging with other services and making positive changes in their lives before a place is offered.

Each tenant will have a support package which is bespoke to them. 

This will include areas such as:
  • All matters relating to maintaining the tenancy
  • Cooking
  • Money management
  • Attending appointments
  • Volunteering
  • Job opportunities
  • Relapse prevention
  • Learning new skills
  • Building emotional resilience
  • Maximising personal potential
  • Raising self-esteem
  • Developing confidence

Support

Life Skills:
We will provide a minimum of 3 hours per week 'in house' support to educate each individual on sustaining their tenancy.

Employment:
Where appropriate we will work with the tenant to find meaningful & sustainable employment.

Recovery & Wellbeing:
We will work with you to manage triggers and risks.

Positive Directions will nurture, support and work with people to help develop their skills, raise confidence and self-esteem, to maximise their own personal potential and help them move forward towards a positive future.

Our passion is to work with those people who face multiple barriers to achieving their goals.

We embrace people who face disadvantage due to having an offending background, misused substances, suffer with low level mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, lack of self-esteem. 

We will offer a holistic approach when we work with people.

  • Help with relapse prevention - understanding their triggers to relapsing and offending/reoffending behaviour.
